Shipping Company Groningen, former Feederlines, Navigia and Thorco Shipping, has choosen an additional 3G mobile broadband communication solution for a part of its fleet. It was a strategic decision to use shipznet, which has convinced as an optimal solution to communicate near-shore. „By using 3G we have an important option for our seafarers to stay in contact with their families and we can provide even more crew welfare“, said Fred Brookman, IT Manager of Shipping Company Groningen.
